How To Build A Table With No Nails

Necessity is the mother of invention as they say, and due to our workshop being in our garage at home we built a table here that needed to be transported. See how we did this without nails in our DIY post!
This was what we replaced at our beach home, since the old projection screen TV was no longer working and outdated. We wanted a fresh, new minimalist look and donated the shelving and apparently fixable television.
I have complete instructions for you and a materials list on the blog, but we started by cutting four 4 x 4's with a chop saw as shown to the desired height of the table.  The wood is southern yellow pine that cuts and stains up nicely. This is a messy job, so it's best to work in a garage, workshop or outdoors.
We built the top first, then the frame (legs) and lastly added a bottom shelf.

Once we built the top we then turned the frame over and placed the top on top of the frame. The bottom shelf was constructed with the leftover wood and the table is held together by carefully planned out notches.
Here is the finished table, which I've explained how to paint for a beachy look as well on the blog. This table is a focal point in the living room at the beach now and if we ever decide to move it to another room it's easy to take apart!

Full instructions, material list and many more photos are on my blog at that I will link below. Feel free to ask any questions if you are planning to do this project!
