I cleaned 20 years of smoke and soot from the brass around the glass doors of my wood-burning fireplace with no mess and no elbow grease!
Polished and ready for winter's chill.
I just rubbed the damp Magic Eraser back and forth over the brass.
I've burned a lot of wood over the years.
Still need to clean the brick and mortar :(
Anyone have suggestions?

Brasso Brass Polish I've had about as long as I've had the fireplace.
