Learn how to craft gorgeous wire napkin rings in just a few minutes.

Gather Your Materials

  • Craft wire (1 spool like this one here)
  • Pliers
  • Solid round tube or small pvc pipe

I chose a thin gauge craft wire for this project so that I could easily bend it into my desired shape.

Secure the end of your wire

Using a tube like object, start by wrapping your wire around it once and twisting it like a bread tie to secure the end closed.

Wrap your wire

Start wrapping your wire around the tube. Be messy with it and make sure to overlap it diagonally. This helps tp keep the wire in place, but also gives it that gorgeous imperfect look.

Continue Wrapping

Continue wrapping your craft wire until you're happy with the desired thickness and width of the napkin ring.

Remove the wire

Carefully slide the wrapped wire off of the tube.

Secure the ends

Secure the loose end of the wire in place by pinching one side of your napkin ring and wrapping it around the entire bottom portion.

Clamp the end

Use a pair of pliers to clamp the end of the wire down in place.

Shape your napkin ring

Finally, Shape your napkin ring by gently pulling it apart like a fan.

Ready for use!
