Pink Baby Shower

Saturday I went to my beautiful friend Ornella’s baby shower and there were so many great ideas I want to share them with you today. I know we're all decorating our homes but we all host so many baby showers in our homes and there were lots of great ways to save $$ here. Not only was everything decorated beautifully in all it’s P I N K – GIRLY – G O O D N E S S, but there was some wonderful Creativity and Diy inspiration evident too. So I wanted to share these great ideas for baby showers, baby and girls rooms.
Onesies hand painted with baby's initials and hung on clothesline
Book on my gift
Printed this cute sign and put in a frame
She made a book with photos from her maternity photos and made a sign that said "Please write your pearls of wisdom"
This small table held a pair of the tiniest Gucci Shoes for baby Ella and a book that Hermine made with pictures taken from her Maternity photo shoot. She made a sign that says please write your “Pearls of Wisdom.” I thought that was such a wonderful idea.]
Candy table was adorable! She had the jars and bought the candy in downtown La. The cotton candy was rebagged in clear and tied with pink ribbons
Hermine made this pink tutu like skirt for the table and set up this beautiful Candy Buffet. She went to down town L.a. and bought all the candy and put it in jars that she already had. The cotton candy came in childrens bags and she put them in clear bags with pink ribbons.
Darling Invitation
Inside the darling invitation was this enclosure. I thought it was BRILLIANT!! What a wonderful idea to bring a book instead of a card. We all spend $3-4 on a card (at least) and instead to bring a book and sign the inside, she will always remember each person while reading these wonderful books to baby Ella Nicoloe. She probably received 40-50 books that she will have and treasure I’m sure.
Bring a book instead of a card and sign it so they will be able to read it and what you wrote for years to come
The Shower was held in the clubhouse in Irvine. There were handmade white tissue flowers hanging, white rose bouquets throughout the room, Pink Lemonade and Champagne too.
handmade tissue flowers and flowers bought in downtown L.a.
The favors were so amazing and I got to help a few days before in putting them together.

My friend Hermine is so resourceful and creative. She found the burlap bags, pink ribbon and Glitter Paper at Michaels. We traced and cut the E’s and then used a hole punch to thread the ribbon through.
Favors were burlap bags from Michaels 2 for $1 with E's cut from glitter scrapbook paper and tied with pink ribbon
Her cousin Niki ordered the Pink Nail Polish to go inside and monogrammed stickers too.
Pink Nail Polish ordered online with Monogram stickers
Banner made from fabric and letters along with pink tutu
We took off labels on water and cute scrapbook paper to make new labels - glue is already on and you just wrap it and hot glue one dot to secore
Delish cookies
Beautiful photo
Headband station made from frame and ribbon and you could go up and glue a flower on the band for baby
Nikki made the headband making station so you could make your own headband for baby to wear.
Super cute pink napkins with stamped feet and initials
Niki ordered the pink napkins online with cute baby feet and her initials on them. I’m sure you could buy stamps too if you wanted to make them for a little less. Nikki painted the letters E L L A that will go in her room and she blew us away with a beautiful hand made hope chest she made for her as well. It was definitely a room filled with family, friends and lots of love. It was a wonderful day and a beautiful shower and I enjoyed being a part of it.
Letters painted in baby's colors
