DIY Cheap Large Wreaths
I wanted some Christmas wreaths, but if you’ve been with me for a while, you know I don’t like to spend very much money. I had a ton of wired garland laying around, and with a $25 purchase of three 24inch hoops, I made some cheap wreaths!
What I used:
24in Metal hoops
Wired garland
Pinecones
Floral wire
Christmas lights
Step 1: Form wreath
First I just wrapped the garland around the hoop, weaving it in and out of the circle. Every so often I used one of the branches and wrapped it completely around the hoop to secure it.
I wrapped each hoop twice but you could go around however many times you want, depending on how full you want your wreath.
Step 2: Dress it up
Next, I attached some pinecones using floral wire. You can also attach bows, ornaments, flowers, or anything else you’d like.
I finished each wreath off with a string of lights. I wrapped the lights around the wreath, again weaving in and out of the hoop.
To display them, I used some fishing line and hung them in our windows! Such a cheap easy way to DIY some large wreaths for your home- inside or out!
