Wreath Week - Chicken Wire Hoop (with Removable Magnetic Cutout)!
To bring our unofficial new holiday Wreath Week to a close, I wanted to show you a super simple wreath that can be changed out as needed!
Here is what I used:
- 14" Chicken wire hoop wreath form
- Stay Awhile wood cutout
- 2" felt circle
- Preserved lemon leaf
- 3" tea rose (sola wood flower from Oh You're Lovely)
- Hot glue
- Small magnets
- E6000
Take your felt circle and put it behind the wreath. Add hot glue from the front side and attach your first leaf! Do the same for your second leaf and then glue the flower to the center.
I went simple Simon with this wreath but you can make it as elaborate as you want! If you are using a lot of greenery, you can attach that using twine or binding wire and then hot glue the flowers to the greenery. If you are covering a larger space, and want to finish off the back, you can just cut a large piece of felt for that.
Attach a dab of E6000 to your magnet and place on the back of your cutout. I like to attach at least two magnets to ensure I have an extra touch point onto the chicken wire.
E6000 takes about 24 hours to fully dry but you want a secure hold!
Since the cutout is on magnets, you can place it whichever way you like! You can also change out the sayings to fit with the seasons and holidays
I hope you enjoyed our wreath tutorials this week and as always, let me know if you have any questions at all involving wood flowers in the future! Happy crafting!
Enjoyed the project?

I really like this idea! You can change your sayings, or even your flowers if you put magnets on them. Update it for different seasons. Plus i love the rustic look! 😍😍
Endless possibilities...
