The best thing I like about fall is you don't have to spend a lot of money to decorate for the season. A few pumpkins go along way in making your home inside or outside look great.

First step is to make a trip to your local grocery store , pumpkin patch etc and purchase 3 pumpkins. I got mine for 97 cents each! Next you will need a paint marker in white and a black felt marker. Some jute rope and leaf garland.

Make sure your pumpkins are free from dirt. Take your paint marker and you are going to write grateful, thankful, and blessed.

Once dry take your black marker and outline the words. You don't have to do this step, it just makes it stand out more. I am decorating my hometown church for Thanksgiving so I want the words to be noticeable from a distance.

Next you are going to take your leaf garland and cut a few pieces off.

I used two leaves. This type of garland is wire and can be purchased at Dollarama.

Next take your leaves and place them around the stem of your pumpkins.

Last step is you are going to take your jute rope and cut 4 pieces for each pumpkin . About 20 inches long. You should have 12 pieces all together.

Next take your 4 pieces and tie them around the stem of your pumpkins making a bow, and making sure your leaves are secure. Do this to every pumpkin.

Here they are finished. These can be made for indoors or outdoors using large or small pumpkins. Love how they turned out.
