I'm So Ready For Time In The Garden —Are You?

1 Material
Lately I've posted DIY & pallet wood projects, repurposing stuff, vintage updo's and a few spring flowers but... Spring fever has made me think of well, more SPRING! I thought I'd share a few of my favorite garden blooms and, who knows, maybe it will get you excited about spring time flowers and summer sunshine. I know I can't wait to get out there and get my hands dirty in that garden soil!
My pincushion flowers bloom into winter

My love for gardening and flowers came from a dear and beautiful friend. Almost 30 years ago, she taught me how to truly appreciate the beauty of perennials from her panoramic wall of windows . Sadly, my wonderful friend lost her battle to cancer a few months ago but, her spirit and love will be with me forever.
Peonies in bloom

My Peonies in bloom! Every year I split them. Now I have several around our yard for pops of fun color. Bloom baby bloom!
Patio with a view

Daisies, Black-eyed Susans, Geraniums, a waterfall... A favorite area of the garden off the back patio. I've planted the garden so when we look out the kitchen windows, it looks colorful and pretty. The birds enjoy it too
A rose is a rose...

The photo doesn't do this color justice. I have a few rose bushes in the garden and also by our front porch.
Butterfly Blue and bloomin'

I plant million bells (mini petunias) in a vintage enamelware pot that has drilled holes in the bottom for drainage. It hangs from an arbor and can be seen from the kitchen windows.
Bright and pretty Dianthus

I love the blue-green foliage my Dianthus has against the rocks and mulch. It pops up every year next to an old wheelbarrow that's in the garden.I really look forward to springtime here in the East. It will only be in the 50's today but, I'll be out there doing some winter clean up regardless! Warmer days are just around the corner - I know it! Thanks for the Irish Spring idea. Any advice on how to get rid of moles?

No ?, just wanted to say I also planted many of the same flowers in my Birmingham garden. Upon retirement I planted 1000 bulbs. I had 8 types of iris and at at least that many types of daffodil. Upon selling my home, the garden is what I miss. I would sit on my patio with fire pit blazing and a cup of coffee looking at the trees in winter and flowers in spring and summer.
