Another of my favourite seed types to harvest! Really easy to find, big enough to handle easily, and another one easy to grow :-)

This is a nemesia plant. This and an envelope is again all you'll need for this project.

If you look between the flowers you'll notice small brown pouches. These are the seed pods! Really easy to identify :-)

Detach the pouches from the plant as shown.

If you look inside the pouch you'll be able to see the seeds. Simply upturn the pouch into your hand or onto a piece of paper, and the seeds will fall out. You might need to pinch the seed pod a little if the seeds are still semi attached at the bottom.

Repeat with more seed pods until you have the number of seeds you want. As you can see from the photo shown here, nemesia seeds are really easy to identify and they're large enough that they're relatively easy to handle. Each one of these little seeds should produce an entire nemesia plant when they're sowed next year! It's such a lovely plant. Great as gifts, easy to care for and super bright and pretty:-)

Last step. Envelope and label. If you have multiple colour varieties of nemesia be sure to harvest, store and correctly label them all separately so you know what colours you have and how many of each to sow.

There you have it- a good stock of nemesia seeds ready for next year:-)
