Makeover For My Mom

My mom asked for some new end tables for Christmas and I picked up this set for a great price! She wanted a two tone look that I had done on some past client pieces. I stripped the tops with CitriStrip and sprayed the legs first with primer and then with General Finishes Antique Walnut. A little distressing and some Van Dyke Brown glaze finished off the bases. I used Java/Antique Walnut gel stain for the tops being careful to wipe it on in the direction of the veneer on top. They got sealed with some wipe on Minwax Poly to protect the tops. I think they turned out great and my mom loves them!
