I have an older home with a very small kitchen, because of the layout and lack of space making tea or coffee in the morning was a bit of an obstacle course as nothing was in one place. I wanted to find a way to have everything in one location so I headed to my Dollarama store where I do my best thinking! I wander the aisles looking at different things until inspiration hits me and I found it with a shower caddy.

So here is the inspiration behind this project.

Although you can't tell by the picture the shower caddy is brown. My kitchen cabinets are grey with black handles so I wanted the caddy to match so I spray painted it black using paint I had on hand.

So here it is painted.

Next step was location. I have this spot beside my upper cabinets, don't really know what the purpose of it is but I thought it would be perfect to hang my caddy.

Next step is installation. These are used to keep cable wires secure along walls and baseboards. They are the perfect size for my caddy.

So if you notice in the above picture there is a nail then a u shaped hook. I placed the hook part over the shower caddy then nailed in place at the top and two sides of my caddy to secure in place.

Now that the caddy is complete I needed something to store my tea, coffee and sugar in. I found these glass storage jars at the dollar store. Before using wash well with soap and water.

I had some labels on hand that had black trim around them so I wrote tea, coffee, and sugar on them and attached them on my jars. Then filled with my condiments.

So here are my jars. They fit perfect in my caddy. If you are going to do this project I suggest finding your caddy and jars together so you can make sure they are going to fit before purchasing.

Add your favorite mugs and you're finished!

This simple project has made mornings so much easier. I wish I would have thought of it earlier!!
