I find that I am happy when the counter tops in the kitchen are clear and neat. I have over time developed certain things that serve me well and efficiently while keeping the kitchen clean. Granted it might not be for everyone- it works for our kitchen.
Little things make me happy. Upper right picture shows a soap pump that I have purchased TWICE because it kept falling apart. I liked it because it kept soap, sponge and scrappers in a condensed container. Then today I found this soap dispenser (left picture) and I jumped for joy. Got a slim container and created my own.
Of course, the soap has to match.....
The dual caddy for sponges - I prefer to house the sink stoppers; they are within reach and not cluttering the sink. It's color doesn't stand out as intended.
A free standing towel holder works best when airing/drying the dish towels by the sink.
Instead of upright or under the cabinet paper towel holder - I use the multi-fold paper towel dispenser and don't have have to touch the paper just to dispense.
Yep, the little things that make me smile.
