Donate odd-ball sizes. Only keep sets of similar sized lids and containers. You can put a rack in the drawer to hold all lids together. Stack containers.
I stack my containers and use one for the lids.

The first thing I did was purge mine. Based on my real usage and getting rid of anything that was stained or missing lids/bottoms. Then I designated one cabinet. I made a small investment in nesting plastic ware. That was about half of the space. Then I placed least used items on the top shelf to the most used on the bottom.
Another option is to use some type of sorter for the lids and stack the bowls. A dish drainer or pan vertical organizer can be used for the lids.
Got rid of any carry out containers, then placed any containers with lids together, the containers on top and the lids underneath.Really simple.
Hello. I have donated a portion of mine away and purchased nesting plastic ware. Both bins and lids snap compactly together. It solved storage problem completely

Hello Joyce,
Stack them, Put them in boxes, Sort them into types. Best wishes
Hi Joyce, I try to stack mine as much as possible (largest to smallest inside of each other) and then I use a large rectangle container to store all of the lids in. It keeps it organized... I just have to take the time to put it back properly after I wash it LOL

For longer storage, use rubbermaid or similar containers with snap tight lids. Separate utensils by type, and label each container.
Do you mean Rubbermaid storage containers, for like leftovers? I store them in a fabric bin in a big cabinet under my kitchen counter. That way, they don't tumble all over the place.
Hi,
Stack them in boxes in same type shapes, that's what i do. Easy to get at and store.
