What to do with invasive violets.

A border grown amuck has allowed violets to infiltrate my front yard. Nothing worked and mowing the grass just helped them spread.
Finally I decided if you can't beat them, join them
I started to remove the grass and mulch and add flowers to my violet yard.
The grand babies love finding flowers and they stay green all year here.
