Small Garden Pond Paradise

I desided the garden needed something special this year. So I added a 55gal pond liner! Some pond plants! Oh! And of coarse a few fishies!
Pre-Fab pond liner from Menards
Add water then wait a few weeks for chlorine to dissipate.
Slow process getting water ready for plants and fish. Started trying a few diff ways to have water flow into pond.
Colorful plants fill-In around pond!
TaDah!...A Pond Paradise!!

Oh my it certainly is a piece of paradise. I live not that far but south across the border,how do you maintain it over the winter and how did you get so much color. I love it so much that I want one. Please answer.
