We show you how to get the Chippy Paint Finish! You wont believe how easy it is!
Get ready to create a finish on your furniture that will set your space off!
We used a plan that we found online and modified it just a bit. We did not sand it down. We want the raw texture for later.
We used a dark walnut stain over the whole piece.
We used a home decor and chalk type paint sprayer, but we didnt use a chalk type paint. We used regular flat latex paint. We put a very heavy thick coat on. And allowed it to dry.
Next we used our scraper and 60 grit sand paper to achieve the chippy finish.
The final finish
Added the top for a finished piece.

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
Did you paint with a brush? How many coats? Did you spray paint the table and how many coats? Glad you made this video. The technique is so straight forward and gives you a beautiful finish.

Is that table for sale? Where are you? Where did you get the table from?
About how much do you think this project cost you?
You said you used a “chalk paint sprayer” but not chalk paint. Can you tell us the sprayer that you like to use?
