It wasn't this blue table that caught my eye at the thrift store... it was those great legs!

I could think of a million things to make with them!

A five dollar thrift store find gets a makeover... The first thing I did was to remove the awesome hairpin legs from this ugly blue particle board table.

I removed the turn table from the bottom of a Lazy Susan found at the thrift store and attached the table legs creating a new, beautiful wooden table top. The size was perfect and now so were the legs!

I cut a vintage nautical map to fit inside the lip. The map was found at a garage sale and reminded me of the charts my father used to use on our sailboat when I was a child.

I decoupaged it to the table using Mod Podge. The next step was a spray sealer to protect the table top from stains and spills.

The finished table made the perfect little side table from thrifted pieces. I gifted this to a friend who is using it on their boat.
