Simple Sewing Room Solution

I have a simple solution for picking up threads after sewing. My new sewing studio is a bonus room. Rather than lug an vacuum upstairs, this trick seems to work well.
Get one of those really small paint rollers. I found mine at Home Depot for $2
Add a bristly hair roller over the paint roller.
No more threads on the floor. How easy is that!

Where can i get one of these kits cheap? On fixed income due to illness. I have a small trim roller, so if that is the only tool used for thread pick up cant i just find bristly brush, or use double sided tape? Just offering some other options for those of us that cant afford to buy things like we would like to do. I promise not being negative, and i appreciate your post. I am trying to teach myself to sew, i have conquered threading bobbin, and the top stich. Now to get the lower tension fixed. I bet you can imagine the thread bombs i have around my sewing machine. Lol
