This spice cabinet refresh has been on my mind for a long time. I feel like my spice cabinet is a mess most of the time. I’ve tried and failed to come up with a successful permanent solution. Here is my latest attempt to organize it. It’s a mix of Dollar Tree / Walmart / Amazon storage containers. I tried to come up with some fun labels for my storage containers. Like, The Great Baking Show / Some Like It Hot / A Taste of Italy / Taco Tuesday. What are some ideas that you would use to group spices?

Here’s my messy beginning stage…

Using my computer and printer, I printed some stickers with catchy phrases that would help me organize the spices. Some of these stickers are for helping organize my craft supplies, too.

For instance, I am using a container to organize things I use when baking by using The Great Baking Show sticker.

I then grouped spices into the next four categories. Of course, some spices overlap and I have duplicates of others. I just work it out accordingly. My Usual Suspects might not be the same as yours.

Since I have two onion powders, one goes in Usual Suspects and one goes in Taco Tuesday.

Here’s a few of my Usual Suspects… Everything But the Bagel seasoning, 21 Seasoning Salute, salt, pepper, Ranch, garlic powder, onion powder and so on.

For A Taste of Italy, I went to Google to see examples of Italian spices. This is from Cook Eat Go on Pinterest.

I decided to keep some metal measuring spoons in the cabinet on this metal knife holder.

I used command strips to put it up instead of the screws that it came with.

I used two Command Strips so that it would be extra secure.

Just an FYI, not all metal measuring spoons will be magnetic. I had one that wouldn’t stick to the magnet.

I’m pretty happy. Not every spice is in a bin but the bins that I have really help a lot.

How would you label bins for spices and what spices would you group together?

In this picture, I labeled where you can find the various containers that I used for organizing. I would love to see how you have your spice cabinet organized.
