Grandma's House DIY Its been a hell of a ride since I started this blog and renovated and moved into Grandma's house back in 2015. I got married, divorced, lost my doggo soul mate, spent two years as a single gal, remodeled everything, threw my back out countless times and found a man who wanted to get on board with me! Around here we really do it all: refinish old furniture, re-purpose old pieces or build it from scratch. Lodi and I have some serious plans for this old farm. For the first time I have a real partner! I can't wait to see what the two of us can do together - this is gonna be so much fun!

    Good job! It is great when you can re-use things from another room and not waist the wood. How about a half shelf or those wire basket things under the cabinets for stain remover/scrubby brush and an under counter lighting strip to see spots and if you have the wall space here are a couple of ideas for hang to dry stuff. I just wish my laundry area was bigger than a closet attached to the back door. )

      @NancyMaria Oh how cool! We definitely have room in there for the racks! I'm also thinking about building some storage on either side of the washer/dryer combo so I can then cover it with some kind of counter top! Thanks!
