Painted and Stained Antique Oak Dresser

I found this gorgeous dresser at a ReStore in my neighborhood. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be the perfect dresser for my little girls' soon to be shared bedroom. Yes, I painted it. But I made sure to make the beautiful wood be the focal point of this dresser.
Key holes, serpentine drawers, quarter sawn oak, and a cute little cubby cabinet - it doesn't get any better than this!
I stripped down the top and the drawers,
and then sanded everything down to prepare for stain.
I painted the frame of the dresser in gray, and added some glass knobs, along with the refinished wood knobs that were original to the dresser.
I lined all the drawers with decorative paper - my oldest was so excited to look inside each one to see the patterns. I have so many more photos and details in my blog post - I'd love for you to stop by!

Love the dresser, love the paper lined drawers, so I clicked on your link to the blog. Love the bed, the quilt, the birch tree stenciled walls... Then I found your crockpot recipes. I have a girl-crush on you. Now I don't have to choose between making projects or making dinner ;-)
