Tiny Aquaponics Fun
by

My daughter and son made this tiny aquaponics system (a combination of aquaculture which is fish farming - and hydroponics which is growing plants in water). The fish have their own tank and the water from the fish tank is pumped into two small growing tanks filled with plants (baby plants in this case) in a non-soil growing medium (expandable clay pellets). Then the water drips through the plant pots and back into the fish tank.
And this happens on a continuous basis.

how nice ! I like aquaponics because vegetables and fish can be grown in this system at home. But we should know the basics of aquaponics.
