Rustic Look for Thrift Store Tray

When I spotted a couple of bags of wood vase filler at the thrift store, I knew I needed to add them to my DIY stash of “raw” materials. Sure enough, I thought they would be great to use in the transformation of a very 90’s folk art tray.
Materials:
- Be sure the tray is free of dust, dirt, and grease.
- Spray inside and outside of tray with oil rubbed bronze. Repeat if necessary.
- Spread a small amount of Mod Podge into a small area on the bottom of the tray. Place wood vase filler pieces into place. This is slow going, tedious work! Plan on binge watching your favorite "Fuller House" episodes!
- When the bottom is completely covered, add a coating of Mod Podge over the entire area. Let dry and enjoy your new rustic, industrial look tray.
