Pink Cabinet Flip

This one was pretty easy to do,so all I have are the before and afters.
I picked up this set, minus the wardrobe, recently, and have had to put them aside while doing custom orders for people. This last week however,I had a spare day not dedicated to anything else,so yanked out the smaller of the 3 pieces and got to work.
I took the hardware off,set it aside, the set about getting all that fugly pink paint off using my heat gun and scraper.
Once removed,I used some 80 grit paper on my sander to remove any left over paint, which there wasn't much, and got her all the way back to a nice smooth finish.
I then put some redwood stain on it using a foam brush and allowed it to cure for a day,
The next morning I noticed that the top had some strange markings on it that were deep inside the wood.
To cover this,I tapped around the top of the unit with masking tape, and did the top piece in walnut.
Another day to cure another coat of stain and another day to rest.
I didn't like the handles it came with, they were plastic,so dug through the collection I now have and came up with some old ones that had been on a different dresser.
The final product came out pretty good.

All I need do now is add a coat of clear poly and she will be complete.
As you can see, I also did the inside.
