Hello Hometalk Fans & Friends Around The World!
Back when I was a little girl, I remember a doll made out of a mop. I tried to re-create the basic doll, then decorate using flowers and fall items from DT.
I hope to bring this cute, and inexpensive doll back to our craft projects. Kids can make her, too. Comment and say Hello back!
I made two. I purchased the mopheads at Home Depot. See next photo's for the basic body. Once you have that crafted, you can use whatever you like for the head and decorations.
I say to use a hanger that you can easily remove later because once you start adding decorations, the doll will get heavier, and if you add wings, you might need a bigger hook. I use a pipe cleaner, easy to cut off.
This is my DT haul. I made two angels. First picture with blonde hair and this one with reindeer moss for the hair. I could remove the fall theme later off the doll and add other holiday decorations. I love them, and they sit or hang. Watch my video link for the decorations. Talk to you soon!
