I live in a condo that faces a parking lot. I have a small window that is near a walkway. I was inspired by another story about privacy for windows. She used contact paper. I don't work well with the sticky stuff.
I found these vinyl clings in several sizes, patterns and colors on Amazon. The project took less than an hour.

I didn't think to do before pictures. (most of my projects don't pan out)This is what my view was before the window film, and with it on. It lets in light, blocks UV and is suppose to help keep heat in in the winter and heat out in the summer. Notice you can't see the red car parked behind the frost! I wanted to see out so I only did one door. I can have privacy and the blinds open.
This shows the pattern
I had a friend help. You need one person to hold it in place while the other is placing and smoothing it. We started at the top and lined up the side we didn't cut. We worked the squeegee diagonal and down. This gets the bubbles out.
Small window
I love these clings. They are easy to remove. I wipe them with a damp cloth to clean them. No residue or smell If I only wanted to do part of the window, it would have been easy to cut!
No more looking in!
Now the only thing that can be seen is the light.!

Good job! I wish I could use that on my patio door, but my warranty won't allow it.
