The Hubs Constructs My Photo Backdrop From Tongue and Groove Boards

I needed a pretty backdrop to use for photographing my completed pieces. The Hubs met that need! He used tongue and groove boards which were $1 each from our local salvage yard. He cut three strips from 2x4s and attached them to the wall to serve as the base. He then attached all the tongue and groove boards using his nail gun to the base on the wall. For the floor part, he applied wood glue and attached each tongue and groove board together. My plan is to paint the top white and stain the floor piece. I will post a finished photo soon!
Suggested materials:
  • Tongue and groove board   (Local salvage yard)
  • Nails   (Lowes)
