So my Sister wanted a sign for her front door!
So I cut a 13 x 7 piece of left over wood that I already had! ( I just love when I find these treasures )
Then I sanded it so not to be rough on the edges.
Brushed some off white left over paint that I also had, (doesn’t seem to run out) brushed here and there so that it looked like worn wood! Set it asid
Once dried, I painted the out side lines, and then the center line and design, I waited a while for that to dry, then I painted the wording!
Welcome
Please remove your shoes
Let that dry for a bit, then clear coated it!!
I must say, it came out nice!
It might not be perfect! But everything I do is all free hand, I don’t use stencils!! Besides I like my imperfections! Gives them character!!
