Every once in a while I will browse through the dollar store to see if anything gives me a little inspiration. One of my favorite purchases would be the Glass Vases. So much you can do with them especially with spring flowers starting to bloom, vases come in handy.
Nice, but I wanted to change out my table decor for something to reflect spring while utilizing the simple glass vases that I just purchased at the dollar store..
First I changed out the table runner for a lighter spring feel and gathered my vases, a candle, and I think I have a dollar store plate or two...but no flowers for these vases, just a little twist.
And I just started playing. Use your imagination and what ever you have lying around and don’t stop until you get just what you want.
I just happened to have a lot of halos that needed to be contained and just started building from there.
2 vases? 3 vases? With candle, without? Just keep working it...
Maybe some ferry lights.. keep it simple or build it up..
Add a plant or vase up your candle, and there’s that dollar store plate bringing it all together.
Or just keep it simple..
A loan candle in a vase reflecting off the warm orange plate gives the table a romantic glow and room for dinner.
Dont confine your vases just to the dinning table. I put them conveniently around the house so the kids can grab a snack from anywhere!
And take those Dollar Store plates off the table and out to the garden. A perfect spot for the birds to take their bath!
