Combine liquid castile soap with Borax and DIY Washing Soda for this all natural laundry option for cold water loads!
This liquid soap recipe is suitable for hot, warm, cold and delicate cycles - and is compatible with High Efficiency machines.
Combine washing soda, borax, grated soap and boiling water. This liquid soap cleans it all.
Another option is to combine the grated soap, borax and washing soda for a powdered version. Simply add warm water to 1 tablespoon powder mix for each load of laundry. Add white vinegar and baking soda to each load to add softening and added cleaning strength. All natural laundry soap protects your skin, your health, your clothing and your dog when he/she snuggles in the freshly laundered piles.

Kathy Ruth on Mar 27, 2015I don't understand the reasoning between using both washing soda AND baking soda! Also, how would this work without the Borax (I don't use Borax for personal reasons)?

Andrea Fabry on Mar 27, 2015@Kathy Ruth I have tried all sorts of combinations and they all work. Without Borax I would use a combination of grated soap, baking soda and washing soda. I like to add baking soda to my mix for added punch.
