Taking one look at this itty bitty bathroom I knew it needed some love... Here's a quick DIY weekend project!
Before photo of a small rental bathroom in need of a makeover!
The game plan:
1. Paint walls white
2. Refinish the hardware in flat black
3. Refinish the vanity with Superior Paint Co. Barn Wood + Flat Top Coat
Here's the supplies I will use for this project.
I removed the doors and prepped the surface using Saman TSP ECP with a 300 Grit sanding pad.
I used Krylon Flat Black spray paint for the hardware (pulls, towel and toilet holder)
I painted the cabinet and doors using Superior Paint Co. Barn Wood and sealed with 3 coats of Flat Top Coat by Superior Paint Co.
Here's the doors hung with the refinished hardware. Everything is still curing so I had to be extra careful during the install.
*Paint & Sealer need 30 days to fully cure - especially this time of the year in Canada*
*This photo really shows the true paint colour it's a nice mix of grey and a soft hint of beige*
I really love this paint colour!
I applied one coat with the velour roller and it covered completely!
So happy to see the pink particle board - fake wood cabinets covered up!
What do you think?
