Before and After Staircase Makeover

For my staircase makeover, I removed the ugly, old, worn carpet and revamped the stair treads with ebony stain and painted the risers and railing. Now this space is warm and inviting as you enter into my home.

Where did you find the treads?

Oh wow I'd not seen your post and I did one thing very similar on stairs to downstairs family room. Since stair treads were in poor shape I used paint instead and molding to close gaps between risers & treads. Used washable stair treads so my old dogs could safely navigate stairs.
