A super simple way to add some art to your fridge.. these DIY magnets only take a couple minutes and are fun for everyone.

Supplies you will need

magnets

wood blocks

markers

paint

pencil

whatever you decide to add the art with

some inspiration for your words/picture

Start off by finding your inspiration. I decided to do some simple drawing of flowers and leaves. You could do some painting ideas, words anything that inspires you.

Keep it simple or as difficult as you’d like it! The key is to have fun with it, it’s also fun craft for the kids

Once you have your fronts of the pieces done.. cut a strip of magnet or if your using the actual magnet circles use a big enough piece that it can hold the weight of the wood and whatever you’d like to put onto the fridge it’ll hold.

Once the magnets are on they are ready for the fridge.. if you used paint give it time to dry 😊

And Finished, a quick project that the whole family can enjoy for craft time! Plus they can be individualized and are great gifts!

The possibilities are endless!!!

often, advertising magnets - from businesses or sports teams - can be peeled off the vinyl or paper fronts, giving you free to re-use magnets! And those with dates? the original distributor - university sports departments who send out season schedules for example - will often give ALL the leftover magnets to you once the season or campaign or promotion is over! A little glue after peeling the first image off and you are in business. Some images peel off and leave a paper backing that kids can draw & color on with Sharpies, for one of a kind magnets!
