Kauai Breeze on Mar 17, 2016Staggering the stones (drunkard's path) will also allow small areas you could fill with groupings of potted plants, not only annual flowers, but herbs will add a pleasant scent and useful texture. Add interest to blank walls with unexpected art objects like metal sculptures, or outdoor pictures.

Naomie Moore aka baileyanddaisey, Castaic CA on Mar 18, 2016Just beautiful! Take your time and I know it will turn out better than you imagined. Where I live, I have a similar type side yard, but much smaller. Turned out to be a great home for my succulents as it is on the north side of the house and protected from the blazing sun. You had a vision and turned nothing into a sanctuary. Hope you enjoy it for many years to come.
