Reuse Those Old VHS Cases!

We really have no need for our old VHS tapes. We actually don't even have a VHS player that works anymore, so I'll admit, it was pretty pointless to hold onto these, however, now I'm glad that I did. I was trying to reorganize parts of our basement and came across these cases. Some were in better condition than others, but after seeing them, and thinking about our never-ending battle with art supplies wandering off to all areas of the house, I figured I could use some of them to create art kits in different rooms in the house, and even the car!
I pulled out the ones that had a colored case, since they were going to store my girls' art stuff.
I just opened them up, slipped out the cover page, used it as a template to cut out a piece of scrapbook paper, and slipped the new, fun covers back in. Couldn't get any easier.
I probably could have added some stickers with what's inside or with names, but for now, they are working just fine. You could use these for storing so many other things, but right now, kids stuff is taking over my house, and having little places to hold stuff throughout the house has been a lifesaver. I'd love for you to stop by and check out the full post!
