How to Create Floating Wall Shelves With Old Cake Tins
Ensure the tins are clean with no hints of grease in order to successfully adhere wallpaper as a unique background to your shelves. Spray paint the tins to add a splash of complementary colour.
Use a tin with a removable base, this will give a professional finish enabling you to use the base as a template for the wallpaper.
You could hang your round floating shelves opposite a feature wall, using the feature wallpaper to line the tins. Check out my blog post to find out how to adhere paper to a non stick surface. What will you use as weights to keep the paper flat whilst it dries?
You can change the colour of your tin by using a multi purpose spray paint

Brenda on Jun 06, 2015i would put the bottom plate on the wall with a counter sinking screw, then put the colorful paper on it, clamp on the remainder of the pan.your good to go.
Brenda on Jun 06, 2015you could also use 3M tape or apply a magnet on the wall, depending on the weight you want to put in them.
