Creative Peg Board Organization

I came upon this small sheet of peg board that was slightly "damaged" while shopping at my favorite overstock warehouse, Loading Dock South. It wasn't really damaged but it wasn't your perfect 4x8 sheet like their other peg boards, this was smaller with several rows of holes missing and the edges cut a little rough.
Organizing the tools I use daily has been hanging over my head for months so I decided to save that piece of peg board and put it to use.Since the entire middle row of holes are missing I decide to dress/cover it up with contact paper.
It was easy enough, just rolled it out, cut to fit and smoothed out the air bubbles.
Since my tools are heavy I decided to add 1x2 furring strips into the studs in the wall first. Then I used screws to attach the pegboard to the furring strips. Really, really secure this way!
Months ago I bought one of those door casing trim kits from a local auction house for like $5.00, since I have since replaced all of my door casings with homemade craftsman style door trim, I had no use for this trim. So I figured I use it to frame out my pegboard and hide any messy edges.
I cut the trim boards at a 45 degree angle by laying flat on my miter saw.
I applied Liquid Nails for Trim to the back and affixed to the pegboard with painters tape.
I let the adhesive dry overnight, just because I wasn't in a hurry. Then caulk the seams and applied a fresh coat of semi-gloss paint.
After adding pegboard hooks, I placed only my most used tools as well as cut a piece of 1x4 to create a small shelf to hold hard to hang pieces like tape measure, safety glasses, etc.
So thrilled to finally be organized!!! This was really fast, easy and cheap! My daughter wants one for her room to hold her jewelry, scarves, purse, etc. What creative projects have you made using

@Holly Prim It's not silly at all! I think it would motivate me to use the tools more often, and put them back right away:)
