I recently revamped a vintage dresser I bought at a bargain shop here in Montana. After looking for dressers similar to this one and finding out that they were anywhere from $800-$1000, I knew I had to paint my own. The dresser came out great and was done within 2 days! Total cost me $200
My process:
1.Remove drawers and hardware. Sand with a 80 grit sandpaper, then smooth with a 220 grit
2. wipe clean with a damp warm cloth
3. Prime 2x being sure to let dry between each coat.
4. Use paint of your choice. I used Behr in Tibetan Turquoise in an Eggshell finish. 2 Coats, let dry in between each coat
5. Spray Paint hardware, let dry and add back on dresser.
I hope you enjoy!
Lots of love from the mountains!
