Cait from Little City Farmhouse used Vanilla Frosting, Bliss, and Antiquing Wax to give this dresser the perfect antique look! Read on to find out how she did it.
Hello readers!

Many times people will drop their furniture off to be painted and give me loads of inspiration they found online of what they want their piece to look like. I love being able to use Country Chic’s paint line-up to bring their vision to life!
The owner of this dresser wanted a very antiqued finish, with a two-toned paint finish in cream and turquoise – and so we did exactly that! I painted the drawers in Vanilla Frosting and the shell of the dresser in Bliss.
The dresser had amazing texture and open grain, which made antiquing the entire piece so fun! I distressed all the edges, and then really rubbed in Antique Wax into the grain. I worked on an area at a time, and then buffed off the wax with a clean rag. This left the wax in all the right places!
The dresser turned out exactly how the owner imagined! It has a retro but really vintage look to it!
