Yellow Distressed Side Table

I picked up this side table at a yard sale. I loved the height of it and the fact that it had storage. There was a terrible finish on it.

Many months ago, I painted a very dark dresser a light yellow color and distressed it a lot. I LOVED the dark color coming through the yellow paint. It was beautiful. That was my inspiration for this table.

I got the same results with this table. It is stunning now. I love it.

With the table painted and distressed this way, you really see all the great details and character this table has. All of that was lost in the dark stain.
