DIY Pottery Barn Inspired Medicine Cabinet

As we are renovating our little mountain cottage and the upstairs half bath is tiny. This bathroom is too small to fit a vanity cabinet in it, so we thought we could use the dead space in the wall.
I saw a rustic medicine cabinet from Pottery Barn and decided we could make one similar.
A table saw was used to cut grooves for the frame.
We designed and constructed a custom framed medicine cabinet that adds almost 3 square feet of storage with only using the space in the wall.
Two 12" piano hinges were used to attach the door.

Redoux Interiors on Jul 31, 2014This looks like it could be project even I could do! What a great idea, and it looks so much better than any cheap medicine cabinet you would buy at a big box store. Great work!
