Fall is really here! Our California weather has even been cooler! I set this table in yellow and grey. I thought it would be a great transition into fall. I love to set a pretty table. It looks so inviting!
I found these yellow printed napkins at a thrift store and have been wanting to try them out for awhile. I layered them over a white tablecloth.
I layered 3 plates on top of the napkin. The bottom plate came from our wedding dishes and are called Blue Peony. I thought they brought out the little bit of blue and grey in the napkin. Next I added a smaller grey plate and finally a white one on top. I found the blue print napkin in my stash and the perfect golden yellow ribbon to tie it up with. Some tea and a mug for something warm finish it off.
For the centerpiece, I used a galvanized tray with some pretty yellow sunflowers in a faux wooden pot. I added some tiny pumpkins into the lantern with one more pumpkin, plus a gourd on the tray.
Now I am ready for some warm soup and bread! You can see more over at my blog, homeonthecorner.com. Have a great day!
