A Beautiful Diy Candy Cane

If you have been following me for very long you know I love roving yarn for projects. It is just so soft looking and has such a beautiful creamy cozy look to it. So it was just natural for me to try and make a candy cane with it.

Supplies needed: Yarn of your choice, ribbon and a dollar store or other plastic candy cane.

Tools needed are scissors and a hot glue gun.

I dabbed some hot glue onto the end of the candy cane. Then you just start wrapping the yarn around the candy cane until you get to the end. At this point dab some more glue onto the end and put pressure on the yarn to stick.

You can see mine was a little fuzzy where I ended so I just started my ribbon there and put hot glue on that spot. Again just wrap your ribbon as tightly as you would like. I wanted mine spread out further.

I love how it turned out. It was so fun and easy. I will definitely be making more.

Hope you like this new project. I have one more to show you as promised before Christmas. I will try and get it up by Monday.
