From Old Trunk to Instant Ottoman... Thanks to a Few Casters
The day I landed this old salvaged trunk, I thought I'd morph it into a coffee table. But seems comfort one out first, because it became a rolling upcycled ottoman instead. Instantly!
The quick addition to the right kind of casters was the key. Add a coffee bean sack burlap pillow and you have yourself one junky ottoman even the cats can't refuse.

An old junky trunk has recently become pretty hot property around here!
The upcycled trunk became the perfect ottoman nearly instantly with just a few casters.
Finding casters with ball bearings was the key. Blocks of wood were installed inside the trunk for the required stability.
Making a burlap pillow case with jute ties just made sense! Pretty cool and equally comfy.

Now to get a turn before the other cat finds it...

Great job, but it looks more like a new "cat bed" to me! HA! Love it and the cat is beautiful!
