Fire pit Table Top

Convert your square fit pit into an outdoor table with a removable top. See the details here. http://www.infarrantlycreative.net/2012/07/outdoor-coffee-table.html. I used my Kreg Jig to build the top and then stained it and put a spar varnish over the top to protect it. This is perfect in the heat when we don't use our fire pit. I love when furniture has dual purposes!

I love your table and have a square fire pit I'd dearly love to do this too but you don't give any detained instructions or pictures in progress. Would love to see pics of the before, during and after as well as more details. Can't get into your website to see if they are on it. What gives? Please share more about how you did it with pics. I'm so tired of having to cover my fire pit with a tarp to keep water out of it year round. Would love to use it as a pretty patio table instead of such an eyesore.

We love things that double-up for multiple uses. This is great - thanks for the idea. Gotta share this with our Facebook Fans...

I have seen something similar to this. They used the center to put iced beverages in the center during the warm weather months. That way, the center is used really all year long--this gives a third option which is great!
