Bought this end table at an auction for $4
The table was an end table from 1980's.
The table legs were wobbly, so I re-glued them (see clamps in photo) and started the long process of sanding the black paint off from the top!
After sanding the top, I applied stain in Walnut, wiped it off to create a more distressed look, then hand rubbed on my favorite product Restor A Finish, then hand rubbed some clear polyurethane finish in satin and painted the bottom of the table with Waverly chalk paint, color Azure. Love the result and so does my dog, Georgia!
Enjoyed the project?
