Queen Sized Bed Makeover

My wife has wanted me to chalk paint the bed for a long time. I have been putting it off. I finally got around to it and she loves it. What do you think about it?

It's beautiful but does look a tiny bit unfinished to me. I'd love to see a bit more blending of the dark brown and perhaps some gold wax or bit of gold highlighting on that gorgeous detailing.
