Bathroom Makeover

Our pipes burst and forced us to remodel two of our bathrooms. This bathroom we decided to go bold and bright with wall paper, tile, countertop, chandelier and even a custom window shutter. The end result: we love it!
Here is the before picture. A plain country feel that was designed by the previous owners. Pale green wallpaper, beige tile and white accents.
We gutted the bathroom and recreated a bright bold sanctuary. All who have entered say, 'wow'!
We chose a navy blue and white lattice pattern for 3 walls and a navy blue velvet paper for one accent wall.

The chandelier is gorgeous. We purchase ours from wayfair.com - but have since seen them at the Home Depot. Here is the product information if you are interested:

The shower is a glass enclosure, white tile with a slight sketch stripe with a 12 inch glass mosaic insert. It is even prettier up close and in person.
We kept our original vanity, gave it a fresh coat of white paint and spray painted the knobs. The countertop is a bold stone speckled granite.
I found an iron wall panel at Hobby Lobby that matched the lattice wallpaper patter very closely. The panel was just a few inches shy of fitting into the window insert so we asked our handyman to build a frame and attach it with some small hinges. The rest of my home has a Spanish feel. The iron grate really ties the bathroom design into the rest of the home and gives it a custom touch.
