Door Way Hack

I needed extra pantry space in my kitchen so my husband built and installed a pantry into an unused kitchen doorway.
He used 1x6 shelf board to make the pantry frame. He cut two 78" boards for the sides and two 30" boards for the top and bottom of the frame.
He screwed the frame together and nailed beadbord to the back. He then screwed the entire shelf unit into the old door frame. I then painted the whole pantry white. I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures of the framing and installation, but here's an after picture of a corner of the installed frame. The shelves were installed later on.
He then marked and drilled holes every three inches in both sides. These holes are for shelf clips.
Next he cut eight 30" wide shelf boards.
I painted all the shelf boards white.
I put shelf clips where I thought I'd like each shelf to go. Since there are holes drilled every 3" I can go back and adjust my shelf heights as needed.
I installed my shelves and filled up my nifty new pantry. Now all I need is help with door ideas so my husband can trim up the door frame and install the doors. I'd like two doors that open in the center. I'd also like to stay away from solid panel doors so I was thinking of doors with chicken wire inserts. I really would appreciate door suggestions. Does anyone have any ideas?

Kat Stansbury on Feb 28, 2017From your pic it looks like you have a doorway next to your little pantry. If that's the case, a barn type door would work both ways, covering the pantry or close the doorway.

A couple of vintage shutters would be my choice.
