The easiest way to add curb appeal to your home is with landscaping! You can build a beautiful window box to attach to your home and fill with gorgeous flowers for the price of a cedar plank!

Use the miter saw to chop your board down into the appropriate measurements.

These are the measurements I used, but you can easily customize to fit your home!

*I MADE A MISTAKE HERE* It's easier if you use your Kreg Jig to put your pocket holes in the front and back pieces instead of the sides! You have a LOT more room to drill that way!

I free-handed a design, cut it out with a scroll saw, then traced it on the other piece of wood and cut that side as well.

Using the scroll saw is a lot like a sewing machine :) Just slowly push the wood through and guide the cut.

I attached the DIY corbels with pocket holes into the studs out the outside of our garage, then set the flower box on top!

When the box is filled with soil it's heavy enough to stay in place!

Isn't it pretty!? For more details and photos, please visit my blog linked below!

Did you add some drain holes in the bottom?

without drain holes the box will hold water and drown the roots of the plants and hasten rot to the bottomm board.
